Bruce MacLellan
Chair
Bruce is a veteran communications counselor and entrepreneur and was the founding President & CEO of the Proof organization. He has served as Chair since 2023. His career has taken him from the steps of Capitol Hill, to NATO bases in Europe, and to the northern forests of Canada, providing counsel to leaders in business, government, and nonprofits. Inside the company, Bruce is known for encouraging people to go outside their comfort zone and always look for ways to innovate and grow.
Prior to founding the Proof organization, Bruce was an executive vice president at an international public relations agency, where he developed the firm’s first Code of Ethics. Thanks to his commitment to the environment and corporate social responsibility, Proof became the first North American marketing firm to be carbon-neutral in 2008.
Bruce holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Toronto.
