Melanie brings the instincts of an agency communicator who knows that strong media work starts before the outreach, with sharp monitoring, tailored messaging, and a clear understanding of what reporters need.
She thrives in helping clients navigate fast-moving media environments, translate complex priorities into clear materials, and identify the most impactful opportunities with the right audiences.
Before joining Proof, Melanie built deep agency experience across client service, public relations, media relations, and political communications through roles at S-3 Group, PLUS Communications, and Antenna Group. Her work included serving as a client lead, developing and executing targeted media strategies, advising clients, and supporting communications programs for nonprofit and corporate organizations.
She received her M.A. in Media and Strategic Communications from The George Washington University and her B.S. in Communication Studies, with a concentration in Advocacy Rights, from James Madison University.
